The End Days

Hey friends and foes, we are wrapping it up for the year with one last show at The Old Bar in North Fitzroy. Out bass guitarist has eloped overseas so we are going to be down a man, but I'm going to turn my bass volume way up on my amp and I swear you won't know the difference :) We are playing with our pals The Scarlet Ives from Adelaide and local act The Magic Bones, hope you can come on by for one last hurrah before the world ends on my birthday. We have also been recording with Damien Sutton of Bon Scotts infamy, things are sounding awesome (in my unbiased opinion) so let's hope that we survive the Apocalypse so we can launch it sometime early next year.

We are playing at The Old Bar  on the 22nd of October ( I know... again right - I think we officially have a loving and respectful relationship!) we are playing on a Monday evening - but don't let that deter you. We have discovered the miracle cure for Mondayitis and we are willing to share our secret with you if you just come along from 8pm... entry is free!

And I am also making the ultimate sacrifice for you  - I have discovered that Lee Renaldo and Tim Rogers are going to be somewhere in Melbourne in the same room at the same time and although the chances of me actually also getting to be in that room are slim anyway - I have definitively forgone that possibility by staying true to the beloved Old Bar.

We also have some new friends to play with: The Scouts and Mark Anstey - they will be shaking off the cobwebs and shining up their shimmies just for you - so do come along and swing your hips to and fro.

Hey there friends and frenemies - we are playing at this fundraiser show for  3CR 855am on Thursday 27th of September at the The Old Bar. You should totally come, I even included a concession price -  also - there is a DOOR Raffle!
And you will get that nice warm feeling that isn't just the alcohol - it's the satisfaction of knowing you are an awesome person!

Wiley Red Fox at the Evelyn May 31st!

We're thrilled to be playing with "Into the Woods" and "Autumn Gray" at the Evelyn on May 31st - stoked that we're playing on the "right" side of the weekend, which is technically left if you are thinking linear-like...
Anyhoo - you can book tickets through moshtix - as if we were actually a really big popular band or something - and I'm sure there will be some at the door too. Hope you can make it along for a swoony, folk-smithy type evening...

WE'RE BACK~!

That's right, we have our first show as a whole band coming up this Monday at the Old Bar, supporting Mustered Courage. We're on at 8PM sharp! Come after work and grab a cider, beer and pizza!

I'm also playing a solo set with Jon Ashley (formerly of Brer Mouse) next Sunday at Monkey Bar on St Georges Road :)
